The New American Standard Bible (NASB) text for use with PocketBible for Windows Mobile^™-based Smartphone.

The NASB fulfills a twofold purpose of its translators: To adhere as closely as possible to the original languages of the Holy Scriptures, and to make the translation in a fluent and readable style according to current English usage.

The PocketBible edition of the NASB includes the front matter and section heads normally found in printed NASB Bibles, along with all the translators' footnotes. The text used is the updated 1995 version, which is the latest edition from the Lockman Foundation.
